Inspired by Asian design, the three-piece candle lantern in the pierced collection is wheel thrown and hand pierced stoneware with a satin glaze. Small octagonal and square holes are created when the clay is still wet and then each hole is painstakingly enlarged and smoothed when the clay is bone dry. The interplay of light and shadow, color and form complements any urban, contemporary or transitional space.

While entertaining family or guests in your dining room or garden, fill the Minaret lantern with a votive candle or twinkling fairy lights and watch the warm glow emerge through each cutout. The lantern has a classic minaret shape, reminiscent of towers found in Indian and Moroccan palaces and architecture. Opens at the base and top.
